Sales manager

Chipmetrics offers unique >>100 aspect ratio and small line-width silicon test structures on chips and on wafers for the semiconductor industry. Our main focus is on semiconductor tool qualification, particularly focusing on ALD films, enabling high speed and high accuracy for inspection – after maintenance, during process tuning, for tool acceptance and for tool evaluation tests. The company also offers measurement services and solutions.

While this may sound a bit technical and niche, the huge semiconductor field offers plenty of opportunities. We already have a very interesting customer base with large industry players that offer a great basis for future sales. The company has an ambitious growth plan and we are now looking for a

Sales Manager
who can both expand our customer base and grow the existing accounts to new heights.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. 

The Sales Manager will be part of our Awareness and Engagement team collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to promote Chipmetrics products and services. 

The responsibilities include

  • Customer prospecting, consultive sales and account management
  • New customer acquisition
  • Development of the company sales practices and customer acquisition tools
  • Client relationship management
  • product and service planning together with product management and R&D
  • Communication and support for the company agent network.

 

Qualifications that will help you succeed in the position:

  • Proven ability to generate sales and close deals
  • Hunter and growth mentality
  • An energetic and outgoing style of doing business
  • Business planning and sales management skills
  • Hands-on experience of using CRM systems and other modern sales tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Experience of working in the semiconductor industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Business Administration or related field

This is a full-time on-site role with international travel and flexibility for some remote work. The location options for this position are Joensuu and Espoo in Finland and Dresden, Germany.
